Tool making
History
By extending the tool maintenance work and establishing the base of tool-planning Cascade decided to build up our tool-shop in 2000.
After purchasing equipments and hiring experienced colleagues we started to plan and make injection molding tools. Forced by growing requests we added CNC machines, integrated our machines into manufacturing network, that made us able to build two-component-tools, gages and durability-testers. Suppliers like Meusburger, Hasco, Festo, Büttner, Thermoplay, Master-flow supported us in this process.
Since 2003, additional machines, 3-D measuring equipment, Work NC program and QAD ERP system - adapted to the tool-shop - were installed. At that time we commenced to make metal-insert-injection-molds (using PEI raw materials), and because of continuously increasing requests we expanded to a 2-shift-operation. Currently we can cover not only our own production needs, but can win external (tooling-only) orders. Successful ISO TS 16949 audits and satisfied customers prove the quality of our activities.

Our machines
We both have CNC milling and EDM equipment (Hitachi, Ona, EURO, OKUMA, EXEL, ELBO) as well as ordinary (cylindrical grinding, drilling etc.) machines.

Planning, CNC programming
Our experts provide complex tool-plans, constructions in order to build two-component, metal-insert or prototype tools. In this process up-to-date CAD/CAM programs help us achieve on-time, high-quality results.

Tool probation
According to the contracts we can carry out the necessary tool probations within our premises, which guaranties the long-term-production and safe tool making from planning to delivery.
